COVID-19 Info and Updates
Dear Chi Alpha family,
COVID-19 has significantly impacted our campus and it is our desire to respond in an appropriate and loving manner. We have decided to move all of our ministry activities online as long as social distancing and quarantine measures are in effect.
Tuesday Chi Alpha Meetings
Our Tuesday services will be available at 7:00pm on xacentral.online.church. Although we may be unable to meet in person, we can still gather online to learn from the word, support, and encourage one another.
Core groups will continue to meet through various digital formats such as Zoom and Facebook Messenger. If you are interested in joining a core group please send us an email at and we would love to get you connected.
We are doing our best to post often on our website, Instagram, and Facebook page. Please follow those avenues of communication for the most recent updates and feel free to reach out with any questions.
Many blessings and prayers to you all,
Your staff team
Hey staff and students,
According to our county health department, they feel good about us serving as individuals to our local F.I.S.H. food bank! If you are not aware, the food bank is in desperate need of volunteers to help serve our community by packing crates of food every day. They need volunteers immediately, is what they said in their own words. They pack boxes to deliver to people every day from 9:00am to 1:00pm.
If you would like to love our community by serving in this way, that is awesome! But before you consider doing this, please look at the following checklist. Though we want to love others well, the most loving thing we could do is look after the safety of others. Please look at the checklist and answer honestly.
Instructions: If you say yes to any of the below or even hesitate to consider, think of it as a yes. Please postpone your visit. Be aware that including COVID-19 the following are also going through our community: Influenza A, RSV, gastroenteritis, etc.
1. Has it been less than 7 days since traveling out of state, country, or spending time in
crowded areas near Seattle?
2. Have you been to the Life Care Center in the past 14 days?
3. Do you feel unwell?
4. Have you had a fever (100.3F) or chills in the past 48 hours?
5. Do you have a cough not related to a chronic condition like asthma or COPD?
6. Have you had diarrhea in the past 48 hours? Diarrhea is defined as watery like stools
more than 3 times in a day.
7. Are you having difficulty breathing?
8. Have been around someone who is ill in the past 48 hours?
If you have ill people at home, please postpone your visits until everyone in the household is symptoms free for at least 2-3 days.
If you passed this checklist, and feel comfortable serving, you can sign up to help out with F.I.S.H foodbank at kvfish.org/volunteer-opportunities or contact Miranda at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please fill out the background check asap, and email it to the correct individual. Then you are all set!
Thanks community for your loving hearts and for being like Christ!
